Porcupine Meat Balls

Ingredients
- 1.750 g minced beef
- 2.5 ml salt
- 3.pepper
- 4.63 ml rice, raw
- 5.63 ml onion, grated
- 6.375 ml condensed tomato soup
- 7.250 ml water, hot
Method
- 1.Mix the beef, rice, salt, pepper and onion.
- 2.Form into small balls.
- 3.Simmer in the liquids (tomato soup and hot water) for about an hour.
- 4.Add a little extra water or soup if necessary.
Notes
- A favourite with children.
- The rice cooks inside the meatballs and the grains stick out, giving a 'porcupine' appearance.
