Ingredients
- 1.apples, peeled, cored, cut into eighths
- 2.water, cold; to cover
- 3.sugar, to taste
- 4.lemon juice, to taste; add before chilling
Method
- 1.Peel, core and cut apples into eighths.
- 2.Cover with cold water.
- 3.Add sugar to taste and stew gently till just beginning to fall apart.
- 4.Add a little lemon juice to taste and set aside to chill.
