Method

  1. 1.Place peaches in a baking dish.
  2. 2.Combine remaining ingredients and stir over gentle heat until the sugar has dissolved. Do not boil.
  3. 3.Pour over peaches and cover.
  4. 4.Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes or until tender.
  5. 5.Baste frequently.
  6. 6.Serve at once or chill thoroughly before serving.
