Youngberry Sauce

Ingredients
- 1.410 gram tinned youngberries, half the syrup drained off
- 2.10 ml lemon juice
- 3.20 ml sugar
- 4.30 ml Kirsch
Method
- 1.Drain off half the syrup from the youngberries.
- 2.Heat the youngberries in the remaining syrup.
- 3.Puree and add the lemon juice, sugar and Kirsch.
- 4.Strain and chill.
Notes
- Youngberries are a hybrid berry similar to a cross between a blackberry and a dewberry, commonly available in South Africa.
