Method

  1. 1.Soak the herrings overnight. Fillet and skin the herrings.
  2. 2.Soak the bread in vinegar, squeeze out excess.
  3. 3.Peel the apple. Mince the herrings, bread, apple, eggs and onion together.
  4. 4.Season with sugar and additional vinegar to taste.
  5. 5.Heap on platters and garnish.
