Etta's Apple Tart

Ingredients
- 1.840 gram canned pie apples, unsweetened
- 2.125 gram sultanas
- 3.250 gram flour
- 4.250 gram sugar
- 5.1 egg
- 6.125 millilitre butter, melted
Method
- 1.Butter the 26 cm pie dish.
- 2.Lay the unsweetened pie apples down in the dish.
- 3.Sprinkle the sultanas over the apples.
- 4.TOPPING: Mix flour and sugar together with a fork. Beat egg and add to the flour and sugar mixture. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
- 5.Pour over the melted butter carefully and evenly.
- 6.Bake in a 200°C/400°F oven until golden.
- 7.The tart will begin to bubble but will settle down.
Notes
- Card note: 'Suitable for dessert.'
- Card note: 'If desired use only half the apples and top apples with crushed pineapple or some canned plums etc.'
- The crumble-like topping is mixed together dry and poured with butter — no rubbing in required.
