Isabelle's Salad Dressing

Ingredients

• 1.80 millilitre salad oil, third cup
• 2.80 millilitre white vinegar, third cup
• 3.160 millilitre water, two-thirds cup
• 4.45 millilitre mayonnaise, Hellman's brand
• 5.45 millilitre sugar
• 6.5 millilitre mustard powder, dry
• 7.32 gram Italian or Greek salad dressing mix, 1 packet (about 1½ oz); dry packet mix
• 8.poppyseeds, 1–2 tablespoons; optional

Method

1. 1.Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until emulsified.
2. 2.A tablespoon or two of poppyseed is an optional extra.
3. 3.Serve dressing on the side.

Notes

• A creamy, tangy dressing that uses a dry salad dressing packet mix as the flavour base.
