Oven Cooked Rice

Ingredients
- 1.250 millilitre rice, raw; uncooked
- 2.1 stock cube, chicken or vegetable; crumbled
- 3.5 millilitre salt
- 4.45 millilitre butter, or oil
- 5.500 millilitre water
Method
- 1.Put rice into an ovenproof dish.
- 2.Bring all other ingredients to the boil and pour over the rice.
- 3.Bake for 45 minutes or until tender in a 300°F (160°C) oven.
Notes
- Completely hands-off rice method — no stirring or watching required.
