Ingredients
- 1.1 cabbage, large; shredded using Magimix blade A or food processor
- 2.2 onions, thinly sliced
- 3.3 garlic, crushed
- 4.375 millilitre white vinegar
- 5.185 millilitre salad oil
- 6.salt, see uncertainty note
- 7.250 millilitre sugar
- 8.30 millilitre caraway seeds
Method
- 1.Mix through the cabbage, onions and garlic.
- 2.Make a dressing of the remaining ingredients (vinegar, oil, salt, sugar, caraway seeds). Pour over cabbage.
- 3.Mix through, taste, and then bottle.
Notes
- Keeps well bottled in the fridge. A classic South African sweet-sour coleslaw style pickle.
