  1. 1.Peel and slice potatoes thinly. The Magimix (food processor) does this quickly and efficiently.
  2. 2.Grease a shallow baking dish. Rub the dish very well with the cut cloves of garlic.
  3. 3.Lightly dust the potatoes with the seasoned flour.
  4. 4.Layer the potatoes in the dish. Dribble a little oil over the layer. Continue until the dish is full.
  5. 5.Cover the dish with tin foil and bake in a 350°F/180°C oven for one hour.
  6. 6.Remove foil and continue baking until the potatoes are crisp and golden brown. This could take another 45 minutes.
